Exhibit Honoring Vietnam Veterans Come to U.S.S. Lexington

A huge Vietnam Veterans' ceremony took place inside the U.S.S. Lexington Thursday afternoon as a new exhibit goes on display until March 24.

The Texas Vietnam Heroes exhibit is a traveling display of dog tags representing the 3,417 men who died during the war.

3News spoke with the man who designed and hammered out all of the names and information on those tags.

It was some 400 hours of work for Don Dorsey, but he didn't mind too much because he knows something about the sacrifice that was made by those warriors -- after all, he was a U.S. Marine scout sniper during that war.

The display is not going to be up and ready for viewing until Friday when the U.S.S. Lexington opens up.
