Feel the sand between you toes this weekend at Texas Sandfest in Port Aransas.
One hundred thousand people are expected to attend the public event which will feature extravagant sand sculptures from mile markers 0-17 on Magee Beach.
Professional sculptors from all over the world will compete Friday through Sunday.
Sarah Acosta with 3News was live in front of one of those sculptures for First Edition, with one of the artist and Sandfest organizer.
The event is free and there is a $5 admission to enter the sculpture area. Funds raised at Sandfest will go toward scholarships for local students and community arts.
