FAA: Investigating L.A.X. Laser Incident

(ABC News)  The Federal Aviation Administration says that a laser was pointed at an incoming flight Wednesday morning.
      The laser struck a U.S. Airways Airbus that was approaching L.A.X.
     According to the FAA, the plane was at an altitude of 9,000 feet when the beam hit the cockpit.
     Investigators say that pointing a laser at an aircraft is a federal offense that is punishable up to 5 years in prison and carries a 250,00 fine.
