Fans Cheer On Oilbelt All Stars in World Series Game

All eyes were on the kids with the Oilbelt All-Stars who gave it their best in the Jr. League World Series.
Family, friends and fans who could not travel with the team gathered at Big Sams in Annaville Saturday afternoon to watch and cheer on the team as the game was broadcast live on TV.
The World Series game took place in Michigan.
The boys worked really hard to get to this point, but unfortunately fell to the team from China.  The score was 9 to 1.
Despite the loss though, fans are still very proud of the the team that represented South Texas and the entire U.S.
Be sure to join us on Sunday as we help welcome the Oilbelt All-Stars back home with a big celebration at noon at their home field located at 3910 Cliff Crenshaw St.
