Firefighters Injured Battling Cargo Ship Fire Back on Active Duty

After almost four decades as a Corpus Christi firefighter, Captain Lee Rogers has not faced any serious problems until last Tuesday's cargo ship fire at the Port of Corpus Christi, when he was overcome by heat and breathing in hot gases from the blaze.

On Monday, however, Captain Rogers and firefighter Giorgio Suarez, who suffered from heat exhaustion during the same fire, returned to active duty. They sat down with Kiii News Reporter Brian Burns to tell us about their experience.
