Firefighters Put Out Burning Van on Weber, McArdle

It was quite the scene Thursday when a van caught fire near the intersection of Weber and McArdle at around 2 p.m. while the owner was on the way to have the van checked out.

According to police, the van was involved in a minor collision earlier in the day. The owner was heading to get the vehicle checked out when it stopped in the middle of the road. At that point, the driver got out to find help, and when he returned the vehicle was in flames.

3News Facebook viewers sent in pictures of the burning vehicle.

It took firefighters about 10 minutes to put the flames out, but fortunately, no one was injured.
