Firefighters Spend Hours Battling Warehouse Fire

The Corpus Christi Fire Department is investigating a fire that broke out Sunday night at a local business.

Crews arrived to Jet Specialty on Leopard near Southern Minerals around 10:15 p.m., Sunday. The company supplies oil and gas equipment. Captain James Brown says the structure design forced firefighters to battle the blaze from outside the building. First responders were on scene until around 2 a.m. putting out hot spots. One firefighter suffered a minor leg injury.

CCFD will be back on scene during daylight hours Monday to further investigate the inside of the building.
