Corpus Christi (KiiiSports)- Friday Night Sports Blitz- Part II:
The Tuloso-Midway Warriors are turning into a high octane high school football team under first-year coach Brian Boone. T-M entered Friday night's Homecoming Game against West Oso with a 32-point per game scoring average. The Warriors fell just short of that in a hard-hitting game with 3A foe West Oso. Still, T-M's 29-3 win leaves the Warriors at 2-2 on the season- not bad for a team that won just one game in the previous two years combined!
It was also Homecoming in Rockport as the Pirates hosted unbeaten Gregory-Portland. The Wildcats continued their relentless ground attack behind running backs Devin Bisby and Jacob Taylor in a 42-21 win on the road.
Sinton put up one of the evening's highest point totals in a 62-26 win over visiting Raymondville. The Pirates scored 9 touchdowns and rolled up just under 600 yards of total offense.
