Friday Night Sports Blitz: Week 1 - Part II

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii Sports) - CCISD rivals King and Moody played a scoreless first quarter before combining for 35 points in quarter #2 at the Cabaniss Complex. The Mustangs closed the game with 36 unanswered points in a 43-14 win over the Moody Trojans.

Tuloso-Midway continued to flash one of the area's highest scoring offenses and the Warriors rolled past Miller 42-28 at Buc Stadium. T-M is averaging 41 points a game heading into next week's home game against Mission.

The Kingsville Brahmas appear well on their way to another trip to the playoffs as they won a key non-district road test 41-27 over Rockport. Kingsville, the defending District 31-3A champions, will step up to host Class 4A rival Alice next Friday night.
