GLO Looking Into Tar Balls Washed Up Near Bob Hall Pier

Officials with the General Land Office were at Bob Hall Pier Monday looking into tar balls that visitors were noticing tar balls washed up along the beach.

Most of the time, the tar balls are natural occurrences as oil seeps from the sea floor, but the GLO was investigating just in case there is some environmental concern to look into.

If you go to the beach and find tar stuck to your skin, the best thing to use in order to remove it is baby oil.
