H.S. Baseball Roundup: Carroll Blasts King, Moody Edges Ray, T-M Rolls

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii Sports) - It was a wild night of high school baseball rivalries in the Coastal Bend.

The Carroll Tigers (#5 in Class 5A) got a grand slam from catcher Cory Gallegos as they routed rival King 14-1 to stay unbeaten in district play. (HIGHLIGHTS)

The top-ranked Moody Trojans (#1 in Class 4A) edged out the Ray Texans 1-0 on a Johnny Gonzalez RBI single in the third inning. Both Moody's Aaron Hernandez and Ray's Matt Merino threw complete games on the mound. (HIGHLIGHTS)

Tuloso-Midway took care of Victoria West 8-1 in a pivotal playoff seeding game in District 30-4A. Victoria West was coming off a win over #2 Calallen, making T-M's win all the more impressive. (HIGHLIGHTS)
