CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - For years we have heard about the health benefits of dark chocolate. And recently, researchers took another look at the impact of cocoa on heart health. Well, the results are in and they are all good.
A study of 26 hundred participants who ate sugar-free dark chocolate found it not only lowers blood pressure but improves the ability of insulin to lower blood sugar, without weight gain! What the study does not tell us is how much chocolate is too much, or how long the benefits last. But one can presume that you can eat it in moderation. And don't forget we're not talking about all chocolate: Only sugar-free dark chocolate.
