A wild high speed chase starts in Port Aransas just after midnight on Saturday. D.P.S. along with Texas Parks and Wildlife were two of the agencies who pursued the driver of a red pickup truck who was going at least 100 mph. After losing the suspect for a short period of time, officers spotted the driver again and gave chase. Thing's ended at the Oso Bay turnaround as CCPD officers put down spike strips. The truck's front tires were blown out and the suspect got out and took off on foot. He was quickly captured and charged with DWI and could possibly face drug charges as well.
