Hoodie-Hoo Day to Scare Winter Away!

Any loyal member of our Kiii-TV audience knows just how excited Chief Meteorologist Bill Vessey gets about Hoodie-Hoo Day.

If you don't already know, Hoodie-Hoo Day is a day dedicated to scaring off the remainder of winter by waving your hands above your head and shouting "Hoodie-Hoo" at high noon.

Students at Montclair Elementary, among others around the Coastal Bend, participated in the Hoodie-Hoo ritual on Thursday. Each year, the weather holiday falls one months before the first day of Spring.
