Hundreds Turn Out to Burger Benefit for Seven-Year Old Boy

There was a tremendous show of support throughout the day Wednesday as the community turned out for a benefit that was held for seven-year old Jordan Arredondo.

Arredondo was fatally injured when a TV fell on him at the Mary McLeod Bethune Day Nursery last week. He died from his injuries on Sunday, and his organs were donated to save the lives of others.

Burger plates were on sale for $6 at a lot at the corner of Baldwin and Cloyde starting at 11:30 a.m., and hundreds of people lined up to show their support. The money from Wednesday's fundraiser will go to help the family bury their son.

Kiii News Anchor Rudy Trevino went Live from the event with the details.
