Ingleside Renaissance Faire Gears Up for this Weekend

Knights, kings, queens, faires and fair maidens of the past will invade Live Oak Park in Ingleside this weekend for the 15th Annual Renaissance Faire.

All kinds of festivities like a bratwurst eating contest, jousting competition, and a cornucopia of mouthwatering food from the renaissance await you at the festival.

So forget your worries of the modern day and dive into the Golden Age of the past with creatures of the dark forest and brave knights and faire maidens.

Whether it's your first time in costume or your a renaissance veteran, families and visitors of all ages are guaranteed a good time.

Three News First Edition reporter Sarah Acosta shimmied with the incantation belly dancers and put on her renaissance garb with organizers of the festival to see what kind of fun people can look forward to this weekend Dec. 14-15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $3 and children three years and younger get in free.
