IWA Middle School Students Take Part in Living Rosary

Middle school students at Incarnate Word Academy are honoring a Holy Month.

Students created a Living Rosary Wednesday in honor of October being holy rosary month.  The living rosary presentation was prayed by sixth, seventh and eight graders Wednesday afternoon at the school.  School officials say the ceremony comes with a powerful message.

"We're here to pray for peace, for peace in our hearts, for peace in our families, and peace in the world, and also to pray against drugs," said Sister Agueda Oveido from IWA.

Families and faculty attended the event and participated in the rosary prayer.
