Jury Finds Man Guilty in Murder of Local Marine

A guilty verdict has come down in the murder trial of a local marine who was stabbed to death in the streets of New Orleans.

Sgt. Ryan Lekosky, 23, was killed while walking home with his wife from a Marine Corps dance back on Halloween night in 2010.

On Friday, a jury found 39-year old Melvin Clay guilty of second-degree murder and obstruction in the death of Sgt. Lekosky.

Clay's girlfriend, Helaina Amrine, has already accepted a plea deal for helping Clay leave the crime scene.
