Juvenile Faces Charges After Riviera Hit List Investigation

After investigating reports of a hit list found at the Leo Kaufer High School in Riviera on Thursday, authorities detained and charged a student for making terroristic threats.

The Kleberg County Sheriff's Office began its investigation after rumors of a hit list began circulating at the school. Their investigation led to an interview of a student at the school, who was then detained and charged with the Class B misdemeanor.

A juvenile, the student was processed and released with help from the Kleberg County Constables Office Precinct 3, the Kleberg County Attorney's Office and the Kleberg County Juvenile Probation Department.
