La Palmera's Pet Night With Easter Bunny Benefits Paws Up

Pets can also get in the Easter spirit this week.

La Palmera mall will host it's final "Pet Night" with the Easter bunny Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday to benefit non-profit Paws Up.

Dogs and cats on either leashes or in carriers can sit with the Easter bunny for photos, and proceeds will benefit the therapy dog non-profit Paws Up.

The organization trains local dogs or rescue dogs to be therapy dogs to visit patients in hospitals, nursing homes or students in school.

Paws Up currently visits the following locations: Driscoll Children's Hospital, Holmgreen Nursing Home, Spohn Hospital Shoreline, and we provide a Reading Motivation program every week at West Oso Elementary school.

The Paws Up non-profit will be onsite during Pet Night with therapy dogs and can provide information on how your pet can become a therapy dog.
