Parents concerned with their childrens safety this 4th of July weekend are enrolling them in swimming classes. At Collier Municipal Pool, students have just wrapped up their first two weeks trainnig class and city staff are preparing for another round of students. This sunday is the last day that parents can enroll their children as young as two years of age. Adults are also encouraged to sign up along with their kids. The Department of Family and Protective Services urge all Texans to be on guard against the leading cause of death among infants, toddlers and young children.....accidental drowning.
