Local Attorney Paul Andrews Out on $1 Million Bond

Local attorney Paul Andrews was released on a $1 million bond Friday, according to officials in Bexar County. He was arrested earlier this week and charged with criminal solicitation of capital murder.

The case stems from a lawsuit Andrews was involved in back in May, when he was indicted by a Bexar County Grand Jury on barratry charges, or soliciting business. After an investigation between the Bexar County District Attorney and the Texas Rangers, it was discovered that Andrews allegedly tried to hire someone to kill a witness in the case.

Andrews has been ordered to wear a GPS monitor.
