Local Firefighters Donate Time to Habitat for Humanity

About 20 Corpus Christi firefighters spent their day off helping to build a home on Friday, as part of Habitat for Humanity.

Firefighters from various stations around town were grouting floor tile. It was a dirty job, but one they said they were happy to do. A mother and her three children will be moving into the home, which is located on Craig St. near the Crosstown Expressway.

Habitat for Humanity hopes to have it completed in time for the family to sit down for Thanksgiving dinner.
