There was a house moving through lower downtown which had people stopping dead in their tracks to watch the unusual sight. Rosalinda Sanchez was one of those people,"I was wondering why they were blocking off all the streets, I was wondering how they were going to get it down there." Steve Farrar was another one of those people impressed,"That's huge that's a two story house they're moving right through here just like that." What had everyone gawking was the 117 year old Steamboat House. It is one of the oldest surving homes in town and is being relocated to Heritage Park. It was donated to the City and will have to have a lot of work done to it before it's opened to the public. It's now sitting on Mesquite Street between the Seamans Center and the Buddy Lawrence House.
