(Corpus Christi, December 7, 2007) From Kingsville, to Aransas Pass. From our 3 studios here in Corpus Christi, to the H.E.B.'s through out the Coastal Bend, the  generosity of Texas residents poured in. Bea Hanson, executive director of the Food Bank of Corpus Christi said, "We have experienced the lows of the warehouse completely emplty and saw the miracle of filling that warehouse today. The truck in front of the studios was full and its about people helping people." More than 112,000 people used the services of the food bank last year, through out the 11 county area. This year's KIII-TV 3 Share Your Christmas food drive will help keep pantry shelves stocked for a while. Although the official numbers are not expected until Monday afternoon. Organizers already expect to surpass last years, number of more than 85-thousand pounds of food, and 28-thousand dollars in donations. From all of us at KIII-TV 3, H-E-B, and The Food Bank of Corpus Christi, thank you coastal bend residents for making this year's share your christmas a hugh success.
