Richard Longoria

May 8, 2008

Coastal Bend soldier, Jeffrey Rosas, was wounded in the chest during a training exercise in Iraq. He is in critical condition at an Army facility in Baghdad. Doctors hope to transfer to him to a hospital in Germany and then to Walter Reed Hospital outside of Washington, D.C.

The Rosas family asks for prayers for their son.

Linda and Orlando, Jeffrey made this decision, and you were right to let him go. He is a man now, and needs to make his own decisions in order to grow. He is a hero! I thank him and the both of you for all of his courage. He is a fighter, and I know he will pull through this. I pray for all of you! It is comforting to know we have our own personal hero fighting for us!! I am very proud of him!
