High gas prices are forcing people to drive less. Connie Gutierrez told us she can't visit her son's in San Antonio and Houston because gas costs too much. She's also stopped eating out as much and says by doing that she's saved on gas costs and has lost weight. David Silvas told us he loves to fish and would hit every fishing hole in South Texas. But with gasoline fast approaching 4 dollars a gallon, he's put the brakes on trips out of town. Now, he's doing his fishing on the Island or other local hotspots. Other people are changing their driving habits. Slowing down by ten miles per hour will give you better gas mileage to the tune of 4 more miles to the gallon.
