Calling All Star Gazers! The Chemo Kidz Fund will host Reach for the Stars, an inaugural special event fundraiser on Thursday, June 26, 2008, beginning at 7:30pm at the Museum of Science and History for an evening of Star Gazing presented by renowned Owen Hopkins. 100% of all proceeds raised by the Chemo Kidz Fund will send 28 children to Camp For All (Burton, TX): 18 cancer survivors and 10 siblings of the cancer kids.

The evening will include an all-star interactive presentation of star gazing using lasers and telescopes, a family style BBQ dinner buffet, and an open tour of the Columbus ships and the Museum. Guests of Honor will include the Cancer Campers and their families. Galaxy Sponsor, NuStar Energy, will present a check to the Chemo Kidz Fund at 8:15pm, Star Gazing by Owen Hopkins immediately following check presentation.

Big Dipper sponsorships are still available for $500 and individual tickets are only $25. The Chemo Kidz Fund is a non-profit organization which is powered solely through volunteers and donors.
