A local school has a new garden, and a special one at that. It's a butterfly garden. It's all thanks to some area Girl Scouts.

Girl Scout Troop 9621 dedicated the "Giving Garden," that has an outdoor classroom for the kids at Saint Patrick Catholic School.

It was built by Troop members who were all given the Gold Star Award. the highest honor for a girl scout.

All three of the scouts graduated from Saint Patrick's.

Bishop Edmund Carmody also attended the ceremony and blessed the garden.

Very worthwhile project that will not only beautify the area but will benefit so many with the beautiful landscaping.
