It's one of the most advanced surgical robots in the world and soon the Da Vinci robot could call Corpus Christi home.
A doctor manipulates the robots hands and it's very percise.
The benefit for doctors is that they get to see what they're operatig on 10 times magnified and on an H.D. screen.
For patients, their healing and recovery time is cut in half and the surgery is less invasive.
The Da Vinci robot is used for various surgeries, but mainly for Prostate.
Christus Spohn Shoreline is hoping to secure enough funds to have the robot here in the next few months.
