He's been in the hospital nine times over the last 24 years all because of heart problems. It started with a double by-pass surgery at age 37, but now Bob Westrup says he is healthier than ever because he is staying fit.

For anyone trying to get in shape, here are Bob's three fitness tips:

1. Try to exercise everyday for at least a half hour, preferably more.
2. Don't be complacent. Be willing to change.
3. Consider group exercise. He says it's not only fun but it's a great social outlet.
