Corpus Christi Police say a drunk driver caused quite a bit of damage last night, when he drove through the gates of Holy Cross Cemetery.

The accident  damaged two headstones that were near an iron fence.

Officers later arrested 40 year old Lino Martinez near Buccaneer Stadium. This was around 11 O'clock last night. They report he was so  intoxicated that doctors said he couldn't leave the ER until this morning because his blood alcohol content was too high to go to jail.
