Corpus Christi Police are still investigating Monday night's shooting of a 22 year old man. They believe it was the result of a drug deal gone bad.

It happened as the victim, Abel DeLeon, was sitting in his car outside the Family Dollar Store in the 2200 block of Agnes. A three month old child was also in the car at the time. The baby was not hurt. Doctors at the hospital reportedly found illegal drugs that the victim was apparently trying to hide

DeLeon and witnesses later told officers he was shot by an unknown gunman who left in a Gold Chrysler 300 with chrome rims. The suspect reportedly had a teardrop tattoo under one of his eyes and several other tattoos on his neck and arms.

"It's beleived that the suspect's wife is staying at the motel?" Why not just put her in lock-up until they catch the suspect?
