I knew clayton in school, he was a friendly guy and his main goal was not to go and kill as many people as possible while drinking and driving.. teenage drinking and driving is more common then you think, someone just had to be killed to realize this problem. I don't approve of drinking and driving and clayton will pay for his actions.

Yes, "repeatedly do bad things" and on "a destructive cycle" describe Johnson. If he had still been in jail for the burglary awaiting that trial, this wouldn't have happened. Obviously his parents had no control over him.

It was not just an "accident" and Clayton didn't just make a "mistake". He chose to drink & drive. He is responsible for his choices. And no, we're not liars when we say we've never driven drunk. Don't assume we're all like you. There are still decent people in this world. Cris was one of them. We forgive, but that doesn't mean there are no consequences. I've not heard/seen of any remorse shown on Clayton's part. How does one so easily assume he's sorry? 'Doesn't seem the type.

Fake ID! I don't know him but look at his pic-anyone old can see that guy is under 21. If someone sold to him, they had to ask for ID and figure out it was fake or not his. If they couldn't, they are pretty dense. As for stealing, I cant imagine them being able to steal enough for 4 people to get that drunk and not get caught! Face it people, Clay Johnson may have killed someone, but there is someone out there just as guilty-get them before they give alcohol to other minors and kill AGAIN.

Our DA Carlos Valdez does his job, but it is the jury that give these people probation. Juries are made up of people like all of us. So the DA can do his job, but if we do not do our jury duty or even if we do, but we do not hand out tough sentances, we cannot blame the law. We can only blame ourselves. We also need to make sure we find out where the minors got the alcohol and go after them too. They are killers just as much as the drunks.

As said before, most of you are IGNORING the most IMPORTANT question? Who provided alcohol to these minors? It had to be ADULTS because TX law does not allow minors to buy it themselves. Unless an ADULT buys/gives it to them, by TX LAW they cannot buy it themselves. TX law makes buying for minors a crime. DO NOT IGNORE THAT? Parents and the law can do all they can but if other ADULTS provide alcohol to the minors this will happen again. Hold those adults responsible and maybe this will stop.

Putting the blame on victims for not wearing seat belts sounds like what a bunch of clayton friends would do. Face it Clayton is a criminal, he murdered someone by being drunk and behind a the wheel. Chris was a very kind hearted young man, who happened to get in this demon's (Clayton) way. Clayton has hurt many many people, not only friends and family of the victims, but his own family. To Chris and Seth's family my prayers are with you.

Vehicular manslaughter, negligant homicide. Its never just an accident, I am sure he feels bad about what happened as he should. As far as the other people in the car are concerned lets weigh this, not wearing your seat belt or driving under the influence and killing someone. Can you say misdemeanor/felony.
