A one year old boy remains hospitalized in stable condition, The result of a near drowning, in a backyard pool.

In the month of June, 30 Texas children, most of them toddlers, drowned.  It was the worst month for child drownings, since the state's annual count began in 2005.

And with the 4th of July just around the corner, authorities want parents to be on guard.
