In the midst of Friday's brief rainstorm, one family was dealt a tough blow after a fire erupts inside their living room.

It happened around 11 o'clock this morning on Castilla Court in the La Armada apartment complex. No one was home at the time, but the family of five which includes three young children are left with a damaged apartment.

Fire officials aren't sure of an exact cause of the fire, and haven't ruled out whether a lightning strike might have sparked the blaze. Firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire, and report to us no other apartments were seriously damaged.
