I am not from CC. I can not believe that there is nothing in this town like a boardwalk. Shoot there isn't a major interstate that comes to this town. (37 isnt MAJOR) A land grab issue? Okay, from what I have read the 2008 bond package called for realignment of Shoreline Boulevard and allowed for public green space NEXT to the bayfront. There was no taking of land. Vote the people out that prevent change and jobs!

the Brass proposal included taking of public park space. This was a land grab issue and the city officials recognized it. It was not a development vs non-development issue. We are Corpus Christi, we are smarter than that ! for once, kudos to city council !

Brass deal was a bad deal?? Oh please...They were investing millions of there money and it was gonna create 1600 jobs with 400 of those permanent. The problem wasn't the deal, it continues to be our "politicians" in city council that lack the communication skills and pro-growth attitude needed to make this deal happen. Mayor Adame definitely needs to do the job e was elected to do and progress our city. We don't need another park or another courthouse eyesore!! We need jobs and developement!

the brass deal was a bad deal, this is not just about the coliseum. it is about downtown development in general. the mayor needs to continue to recuse himself from votes.

I love this idea, however it would never work in Corpus because it makes sense.

Corpus Christi, the beautiful city. Make a strolling park with landscaping, sculptures, restaurants, and shopping. Build a large central plaza with a gazebo to be used for cultural arts with an ampitheater for seating. University singers, orchestra, Navy, ballet forklorico, and mariachis could perform there. Patrons of the arts could join to create a beautiful public exhibit with sculptures that represent marine wildlife, yachting, hispanic heritage, our religious heritage, and the oil industry.
