It's very common in the Coastal Bend but most people have never even heard of it before. It's a medical condition called scrub typhus. Dr. Dave McFarling explains what to look out for.

Never heard of scrub typhus occurring here. It's not endemic to the US, is dangerous and can be fatal. It occurs in the far east unless carried here by a traveler maybe. Murine typhus, yes.
