A Corpus Christi man is recovering Monday morning - the latest stabbing victim in our area. The suspect - his own brother.

The stabbing happened in the 1000 block of Whitaker just after 7p.m. Sunday night. When police arrived on the scene they discovered it was a case of family violence, an argument broke out between the 2 brothers.

Police say that argument turned violent when one of the brothers stabbed the other on his left side at least 2 times. The suspect quickly took off on foot before police could arrive.

Police say they know who the suspect is and it's only a matter of time until he is caught. As for the victim, he was sent to the hospital for treatment and should be okay.
