Texas State Stockpile Antiviral MedicationsLocations of State Stock Antivirals

The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) has partnered with numerous chain and independent pharmacies throughout the state to ensure antiviral medications (Tamiflu and Relenza) are available to uninsured and/or underinsured individuals. These individuals should complete the following steps if they do not feel well and believe they might be sick with the H1N1 virus.

Visit a healthcare provider· 

If the healthcare provider deems it appropriate, he/she will write a prescription for Tamiflu or Relenza with special instructions to receive antivirals from the “State Stock” (Note: “State Stock” antivirals are exactly the same as antivirals available for purchase)· 

Take the prescription to one of the participating pharmacies in your county to be filled. To locate the nearest pharmacy, select your county of residence from the list below.
