One Dead in Tractor-Trailer Accident

A truck driver from Arkansas is dead after crashing his rig Friday night.
State Troopers say it happened just after 7:30 on U.S. Highway 281- 12 miles south of Falfurrias.
The driver, John Douglas Porter was heading north when he drifted off of the highway into the center median, then crashed into several trees.
The 45-year old died at the scene.
