A rude awakening for a local family Saturday morning when a pickup slams into a home on the 3200 block of Brawner Parkway.

Police say the driver was driving drunk and simply lost control crashing into this house. They suspect the man in his early 20s was driving too fast through the neighborhood.

Luckily, no one inside the home was injured. The driver was taken to the hospital to get a checkup. He is under arrest for suspicion of D.W.I.

yea definitely like 25%or lower out of any city are good alert drivers. like allstate insurance that "safe drive" money you could get for every 6months would be good if allstate wouldnt be so expensive. i bet we'd see alot more comfortable drivers. but then a kid wouldnt matter, just to drive home drunk wonder what his problem was.

Change?? Change the way people drive? People have been driving like morons since the begining of autos. Last I checked people aren't getting smarter or more socialy consious (responsible). Shame. We are such a wreckless breed.

Natural Gas

Should the city of Corpus Christi privatize its natural gas system or keep it under city ownership?

  • Yes. Sell it and let private business run it.
  • No. Keep it as a city department.
  • I don't know.
