BEEVILLE--A Beeville State Prison guard has died from the swine flu.

Friends report 41-year-old Mark Tognacci passed away Tuesday at Spohn Hospital in Beeville. Doctors said he suffered from H1N1 complications.

Tognacci had been in the hospital twice in the last month. He was from Aransas Pass and is the third swine flu-related fatality in San Patricio County so far this year.
