The Third Coast Fishing Tournament is a fundraiser for Young Life-a Christian outreach ministry to high school kids. The tournament is scheduled come rain or shine on May 29th at the Bluff's Landing Marina.  The cost is $85 per person.  The prizes include $10,000 in cash.  Biggest red-fish catch means a  $5,000 win for some lucky fisherman.  Tournament Organizer and Young Life volunteer, Wade Grassedonio, stopped by the TV 3 Studios Thursday morning to tell us about the tournament which also includes a special tournament the Friday before the big event.  For more information:  http://winthirdcoast.com/ or call (361) 992-5152

Corpus Christi City Budget

Corpus Christi city revenues aren't keeping up with the budget. What's the city to do? Cut expenses, raise taxes?

  • Small cuts in services and small tax rate hikes.
  • Drastic cuts in city services, no tax increases.
  • Reduce city employee salaries and benefits
  • Reduce all city services including pay cuts, and raise taxes
