Hannah Overton Is Guilty of Capital Murder

A Nueces County jury this afternoon found Hannah Overton guilty of capital murder of little 4 year old Andrew Burd who was a child under the care of her and her husband Larry. Jurors began deliberating Thursday afternoon. The jury found that she caused the death of the child by neglecting to get him medical help until it was too late, after it was clear that his life was in danger. The packed courtroom reacted in emotion as the jury verdict was read.
