Celis, a former law firm operator, is being tried this time on charges of impersonating a public servant.

the definitions are proving to be important, particularly when it comes to the difference between a peace officer and a reserve officer. And there is a definitive difference especially before the laws where changed a few years back.

It used to be a deputy sheriff's reserve officer without certification, could make an arrest if the crime was believed to be a felony.

That was not the case the night celis allegedly flashed his badge. Watch Rudy Trevino's report for more information.

Why do bad people get away with everything? This pretend deputy and pretend lawyer made lots and lots of money and now he pays Tony Canales and the naked drunk girl and her husband and the judge. I told you he made lots and lots of money. Bad behaviour pays of.

He'll be getting probation for this one. He's already bought and paid for the judge. He contributed to the judges campaign and now he's ask the judge sentence him if (when)he's found guilty. The judge should have been removed from the begining.

Natural Gas

Should the city of Corpus Christi privatize its natural gas system or keep it under city ownership?

  • Yes. Sell it and let private business run it.
  • No. Keep it as a city department.
  • I don't know.
