CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - It's a Christmas tradition in the Coastal Bend dating back to the 1970s -- the Art Museum of South Texas, the Junior League and HEB have all partnered together to put on the Christmas Tree Forest, "A Reading Wonderland."

Students from 20 area schools decorated Christmas trees themed after popular children's books, from The Wizard of Oz to Dr. Seuss favorites.

Visitors can vote for their favorite trees. The school with the most votes wins an HEB gift card. After the exhibit, the trees will be donated to the Garcia Center to families in need this holiday season.

You can visit the tree display now until Dec. 14, or go for free on Family Free Day from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 10. For more information, click here.
