COLLEGE STATION, Texas - An Aggie joins Bruce Springsteen on stage for a performance of a lifetime. Texas A&M sophomore, Matthew Aucoin, played guitar and sang with the rock star at his concert in Philadelphia last week.
Aucoin brought a sign to the concert asking Springsteen to get on stage to perform. His plea was answered.
"I was just a nineteen-year-old college kid who wanted to play with his idol and now I'm getting messages from families saying that I am an inspiration," said Aucoin.
Matthew has only been playing guitar for about a year but has admired Bruce Springsteen's songs for years. Aucoin is a business major. He hopes to graduate from A&M and help his father with their family owned company in Spring, Texas.
