Amos Rehabilitation Keep receives $10,000 donation

The ARK will use those funds to continue to collect, rehabilitate and release injured marine wildlife like the cold-stunned sea turtles collected during recent cold snaps.

PORT ARANSAS (KIII NEWS) - The Amos Rehabilitation Keep received a generous donation Wednesday at the Texas Gulf Coast Show Home in Port Aransas.

The Sea Oats Group, developers of the Cinnamon Shore Rental Homes, donated $10,000 to the University of Texas Marine Science Center.

Money received will benefit the Amos Rehabilitation Keep, or ARK. The ARK will use those funds to continue to collect, rehabilitate and release injured marine wildlife like the cold-stunned sea turtles collected during recent cold snaps.

The donation was made possible through the ticket sales of tours for the 2017 Gulf Coast Show Home.
