CORPUS CHRISTI (KIII NEWS) - The potential buyers of the historic Nueces County courthouse will be meeting with commissioners to sign the sales contract.
An offer was placed on the building back in December. Commissioners put a price tag of $800,000 dollars on the property in October of last year. The building will be sold as-is.
The buyer must pay cash at the time of closing. Officials say the buyer must pay outstanding taxes, penalties and interest on the property --a total of $1.5 million dollars on top of the asking price.
